Alexander Fedchun '17 Recruiting Profile

Strong athlete and leader.  Maturing academically and raised marks in Grade 12 substantially. Great chemistry with teammates. They all know I have their back and I push myself and them to consistently improve and help others.  I have excelled at football and received great coaching at the community, city, provincial, national level. In Grade 9, I was chosen to play on a Select Team to represent Calgary and traveled to St Louis to compete against some local teams. I played in the Alberta Summer games, U-18 Alberta provincial team when I was 15 and International Bowl in Dallas, Texas in 2016. This year, I played again in the Canada Cup for Team Alberta and am honored to represent Team Canada in Orlando in January 2017 at the International Bowl.

In my freshman year, I was courted by schools with winning records, but decided to stay with my local school and build it up as a freshman starter.  The team went from no wins to a 4 and 2 record in Division 1 in my senior year.  Also, I spoke up to remain in Division 1 rather than move down to Division 2, because I had confidence that our team would succeed in Division 1.
