I want to major in Education, specifically coaching, because I love working with kids. Yes, I love football and sports, but I love working with kids as much. What makes me a candidate for any team is that I'm a hard worker who doesn't quit. I work to better myself outside of practice and am very self-motivated. What distinguishes from other candidates is my character: I'm honest, dependable, and I hold myself to the highest standards of behavior and conduct. My standards are a result of my personal faith which is why I don't participate in parties or other activities many of my teammates do. As far as athletics, I have worked and will continue to work to improve myself in skill and speed to be the best asset I can be for my team. As far as academics, I have had to work hard for my grades: I took AP classes to better prepare myself for college even though it meant that my GPA is not as high as it could have been if I had taken easier classes. After this past year of study, I know I have what it takes to succeed in college level classes.
