Personal Statement
My name is Payton Sarkesian, I've been playing football for 11 years. I just completed my senior year. My sophomore year I won the starting qb job in the 2nd quarter of the first game and haven't looked back. During my junior year after the 3rd game I got a new coach named Jerry Rhoades, Coach Rhoades was on our staff for the 1st time but he had 25 years coaching experience. We went 3-3 under coach Rhoades and 2 of the losses being close games. My senior year we seemed poised to have a great season, but the injury bug hit us hard. We never wavered and played hard all year long. I'm a humbled and proud person to be able to play the great game of football. The bonds I have with players from the past, in the present and hopefully into the future will be with me the rest of my life. I've played QB,RB, WR, SS and I also started as the long snapper every year but my senior year. I love playing offense and I would love the opportunity to play QB or RB or WR at the college level.
I would like to follow in my dads foot steps and become a firefighter and I also would like to have my own barber shop.
I believe that given the opportunity that I can play anywhere for anyone. I love the sport of football that much. I've developed into a leader and playing QB has helped my progress. I believe with me playing QB, needing to know formations, footwork, routes etc. has helped me immensely to grow. I consider myself a dual threat due to my running ability. I hope that coaches can view my highlights & hopefully come meet me in person and maybe I can workout for a team.
Thank You Payton Sarkesian
