Malik Patterson '17 Recruiting Profile

My short term goal is to obtain an athletic scholarship to play football at the college level.  I am willing to undertake the hard work that is necessary to make this happen - both in the classroom and on the field.  I am committed to becoming a better player. Getting faster, bigger and stronger as my grandfather likes to say.  I understand that while there are people (family, coaches, NCSA) who are willing to help, it is up to me whether I succeed or not.
Long term, I would like to graduate college and have a career in football.  Whether it's playing professionally, coaching, or officiating, in some way using football to obtain a rewarding job.
I love football and being part of a team - a family of brothers.  I feel my instinct and mental skills are something that sets me apart. I enjoy watching games and dissecting formations and plays.  At Tucson High, I am committed to being the best player and teammate that I can be.  Success is best if shared with others.
