Personal Statement
I'd like to start off by saying how blessed I am to play for such an amazing football program at Elkins High School located in Northwest Arkansas. I am a 6’4” 240 lbs TE/H Back for Elkins High School. I have played this position for the past 4 years for Fayetteville High School recently moving to the town of Elkins. I also played 1 year in 7th grade as the starting quarterback, taking my team to an undefeated season and league title. My first two seasons at Fayetteville High as a freshman and sophomore we won the 7A state championship back to back and as a junior we went deep into the playoffs. I've been fortunate to play alongside several college bound athletes while at Fayetteville High School. During that time I learned the hard work, dedication, and time put in to prepare myself for the next level. Along with playing football at the varsity level I also played on the high school varsity basketball team, and 3 years on a competitive travel Basketball team. As a dual sport athlete it challenged me to be the best student athlete I could be by balancing practice, playing time and academic studies to be the best I can be. Playing football has also given me the opportunity to volunteer my time to youth football camps in my community which has only expanded my passion and love for the game.
I am dedicated to making my educational experience as important as my athletic experience by taking extra time and working with individuals to be the best student in the classroom that I can be. I am seeking a college program that will be a perfect fit for me athletically as well as academically. I value my educational experience as a student athlete as much as the experience I would have as an athlete at the next level. I plan to major in Kinesiology, and hope to one day either coach or train athletes at a high level. I believe I have the talent, character, work-ethic, and leadership skills to make an immediate impact with your football program.
