Personal Statement
My name is Joseph Frazier, and I am eager to be a part of a once in a life time opportunity in playing football. I am a sophomore and well respected student at Nettleton High School in Jonesboro, AR and football has become a very proactive part of my life. Honestly, my father told me summer after sixth grade when I would run around his car playing tag with my siblings that I needed to use my energy in something more productive than playing around the house; he encouraged me to play a sport, any sport in school because he didn't want me to be a lazy kid that'll grow into becoming a lazy adult.
Football was the first game offered the beginning of my seventh grade school year, and in no effort to pursue any interest in the sport, I went into tryouts and performed in a way that I never knew was within me. I knew then that I wanted to play football completely to the next level to prove to myself and others that ambition and drive from within and with support from my family, teammates and coaches will make my dreams come true for playing football to the ultimate level.
My mom gives me a hard time about my grades and all because I have been on the honor roll since Kindergarten and she emphasizes all the time that academics will get me to places outside of just football, and as a result of me listening to her and being realistic, I also grabbed an interest in becoming a Fitness Trainer or anything that involves Health and Fitness.
I am a hard, dedicated worker and I really need any assistance available from any team that will help me to pursue my career and dreams in the world of fitness and the sport of football. I am really committed to playing this sport, and I am determined to make it come true.
