I have loved playing sports since the age of 8. I have remained active in several sports throughout highschools such as basketball, football, and track. Each year my team and I have had great accomplishments in each sport. During my freshman year in basketball, the team and I won the Championship for the season. As a sophomore, I made all-state in track and field. My true passion is football.
I am currently QB/Athlete at North Little Rock High School in North Little Rock, AR. I am a very reliable player. During my Junior year of football season, I played several positions on the field. My positions were on offense, defense, and special teams. The coach had confidence in me to place me in several positions on the field as needed. I was able to execute on each of the positions. During my Junior football season, I obtained an injury that took me two months to recover. During the time of recovery, I was more determined to return to the field for my love of football. When I returned during the season, the coach continued to utilize me in several positions on the field. My positions included quarterback, running back, corner, safety, wide receiver, and kick off returner. I was able to assist my team in breaking a record of being the first team under North Little Rock High School to make it to the State Championship in the 7A Division.
I love the competitive environment and teamwork of football. I will continue to prepare for my Senior year of football through working out during offseason, attending camps, and participating in spring football games. My current goals during offseason are to continue to work on my Quarterback skills with a personal trainer and also maintain good academic grades and improve my score on the ACT. I am committed to applying myself academically and athletically to achieve my goals. I envision my college years to be a growing period athletically and academically. My experience and obstacles that I have encountered playing football have taught me perseverance, determination and critical thinking that I will apply in college as an Engineer major. Going forward to college I look to have the best education I can get so I can provide for myself and family .
