BJ Slaughter '11 Recruiting Profile

Hello I am Brian S. Slaughter Jr. My teammates call me BJ. I am 6'1" and 180 lbs. I am a fun guy to be around and I bring excitement to the practices. My coaches say that I am very coach able meaning they can tell me one time what to do and I am on it doing it right and how they want it. In practice I put out 110%. I practice as if I was under those Friday night lights. I am currently a two year letterman and an All-Conference 2nd team athlete. I currently run a 4.58 in the 40 yard dash but i know for a face that i can knock that down. In the weight room I am pretty balanced so to speak. I bench 215 lbs, squat 340 lbs, and power clean 255 lbs but this however can be improved. I am very hardworking and very motivated. I have always dreamed of being a college athlete and to get a good education. My parents always said get a good education because you never know. I can honestly say I would like to go to any college to compete because that is my dream. I currently have a 2.8 GPA. My desired major is undecided. I can offer any team hard work because I just push and push until I get to that ultimate goal. I do try to drive so I can start as a true freshman in college and show people how I can play and I do wish to play on the highest competition level possible and whichever team I get to I can guarantee I can make a huge impact on them.
