Excellence has been a personal goal of mine since I can remember. It feels good to succeed on and off the field. But I have learned that success is not given it's earned and when you earn it, it means more. As a player I have learned that when I don't play my best game to leave it on the field and to concentrate on getting ready for the next game. I have learned that I am not a perfect player, that I can make mistakes to but can use those mistakes as a learning tool. It is a great feeling to be able to appreciate everyone's role and to support those who struggle. The people who have had the most influence over my life are my parents, teachers, and coaches. My father and my older brother have paved the way for my love of football and baseball. As far as coaches, it's like the quote says, "A good coach can change a game, A great coach can change your life". I have been lucky enough to have had life changing coaches, I hope that every kid has the chance to experience what I have. The kind of people that I want to surround myself with are the inspired, the passionate, the motivated, the grateful and the open-minded. Because I take great pride in the being the best version of myself. I have a desire, a dream, and a vision for my future and I hope that someone will take a chance on me at the next level.
