After having the time to assimilate to the high school environment, I have learned the value of education. I have had opportunities to do right and wrong in high school and feel I have learned from both. The mistakes I have made, I have corrected as a young man and have genuinely learned that things are not just given, but they are indeed earned. All of my experiences have formed who I have become, thus building my character. I feel that I could have performed better both academically and athletically, and will continue to aspire to be a benefit to any organization I am a part of.
A recruiter will have in me, someone who has experienced the good and bad in school, sports, family and many other things life may have to offer. I am a leader and will continue to be so if given the opportunity in college and life thereafter. My goals are many as I would like to earn a Doctoral degree at some point. I want to give back and make the community that I am in better. Also, while in undergrad, I would like to grow as a person and individual, working with children organizations when time permits.
I understand the value of an education and that being a student athlete means being a student first. When I do arrive on campus, I will do the best I can to increase my knowledge in all aspects of my life.
