Faith, Family and football are the most important things in my life. I will do whatever it takes to play at the next level, and would play at a D1 school or a D3 school as long as I can play the game I love. I put my heart and soul into football and it is my dream to play forever and I will do whatever it takes to keep growing as a player.
My Senior year went well. We have one of the toughest schedules and play in the top Division and Section in Arizona. I am starting at corner, safety and nickel, depending on game plan and was selected as a Team Captain. I was on Punt, Punt Return, Kickoff and Kickoff Return as well. I have blocked two punts, one for a TD and blocked one XP. I was the second leading tackler on our team with 94 total tackles, 4 tackles for loss, 1 forced fumble, 3 fumble recoveries, 4 hurries, 2 sacks, 1 INT and 16 passes defended.
I was nomitated by AZHS Football (azhsfootball.com) as a finalist for the Division 1 DB of the Year and was also selected to play in the National Underclassmen All-West Bowl Game on December 30, 2014 and the Texas vs. The World game on February 15, 2014.
I played both ways all summer in three separate 7-on-7 tournaments. My new Varsity DB coach is Tommy Knight, former #1 draft pick of the Arizona Cardinals out of Iowa. He has really been instrumental in teaching me the defensive back position and I encourage you to contact him regarding my abilities.
My family moved so I had to transfer schools in my Junior year. I returned kicks and played slot receiver but didn't get as much playing time as I had in past years due to acclimating to the new school and new system. When called on, I did produce and managed to remain solid in my academics and qualify for the National Honor Society.
I returned to my original position at QB in my Sophomore year. I put up about 2000 yards of offense and 30 TD's in an injury free season. Because I was playing QB, I did not return kicks or play much defense. It was the best season for a QB in school history at any level. I was a Team Captain and my team went 9-0. I am undefeated as a QB.
I played 4 games during my freshman year due to a broken collarbone. I played primarily strong corner and slot receiver (pistol offense). I returned punts and kickoffs as well. I averaged about 14.6 yards per touch whenever the ball came to me and I averaged about 7 "touches" per game due to our offense. I played QB as well but the coaches didn't want their starting QB to play both ways so they moved me to receiver.
I have 7 years of Pop Warner football experience as a starting quarterback and defensive back. I was selected as a Junior Rank All-American and started in the All-American Bowl on the West 8th grade team. I was also selected to play as a defensive back in the Eastbay US Army All-American game in 2010. I am a straight A student and have been a member of the Little Scholars All-American Team for 7 years and am a member of the Junior National Honor Society. I am the team captain and starting point guard on my high school basketball team and also played AAU Club Basketball on the Arizona Gym Rats.
