Personal Statement
I believe my work ethic and desire to compete is what distinguishes me as a student athlete. Since the start of my high school football career, I’ve had a great desire to be successful and play at the collegiate level. I have always known that hard work whether it be in the classroom, weight room, film room, or on the field, will be what helps me reach my goal to not only play at the next level, but to be successful while doing so. I have learned to enjoy the time, effort, and sacrifice that comes with being a student athlete. I am a strong leader who relies more on my actions than my words. I believe this is because my approach is that competition is not only reserved for game day. I treat each practice, workout, and film session as a chance to compete and get better and approach them with maximum effort. I believe I would fit in well at a school that values these same ideals, and would look forward to that challenge and opportunity.
