Personal Statement
Football has been my life since I was a child. I started playing flag at the age of 7. At the age of 8 I put on pads and I fell in love with the game of football entirely. My passion has grown to a level that is unmeasurable.
I attend Betty H. Fairfax High School. The past 3 years I have put my life into this program and now going into my senior year as team captain. I am proud to say hard work and dedication pays off. My goal is to attend a four year university and play at the collegiate level while getting a proper education.
I was a starter my Freshman year and played all 9 games. My Sophomore year, I played 1 game on JV and was brought up the next day and was on varsity ever since then. I tore my ACL in January going into my Junior year. I had surgery on my ACL in February and I missed the first 2 games of my Junior year. I came back week 3 and I earned a starting position at outside linebacker. After my junior season I was awarded with 2-nd Team All State Linebacker.
I attended in February of this year, the USA Regional Development Camp. With such an amazing experience I can say I competed at a high level and was noticeable by many. I was invited to the USA Development Games, and will be attending camps through out the summer.
I'm thankful for every day God has given me, and will use everyday to grow as a young man. Football is a passion that I love to endure. I'm dedicated and will strive to become the best player I can be. I will also use my education to my full potential and gain a degree that nobody can take away from me.
