2014 Midseason Hi...Personal Statement
My name is Anthony Baca and I attend Centennial High School in Peoria, AZ. I am a solid 2015 recruit, 5'8 196lbs and I play LB, FB and S and won 2013/2014 Centennial Defense Player of the Year.
I have been playing football since I was four and I am a leader on and off the field. My goals are to major in business management and marketing and one day own a business. What sets me apart from other recruits is the fact that I will not get outworked on or off the field. I have a strong desire to succeed and willing to learn under any program. I've played defense in a 3/4, 4/3 and 3/5 system, both Man and Zone, I can identify any offensive formations coming to the line and I am one of the best tackling linebackers you will ever see. On the offensive side of the ball, I've played FB and Slot under a Spread, Read Option, Wishbone, Wing T, Pistol, and "I" formation. I have a strong knowledge for the game of football and play at a very high level at a very competitive high school program that only the best in the state thrive in. Our program has won three state championships in a roll and considered one of the best, if not the best football program in the state of Arizona, led by me mentor Coach Richard Taylor.
