Personal Statement

 My name is Robert Acosta. I am a 6'4", 285lb  offensive and defensive tackle lineman from Tempe, Arizona. My freshman and sophomore and Junior year, I was one of the starting players playing both offensive and defensive tackle positions for my high school.  I was honored to receive a football leadership award for leadership on and off the field. Received All City Award for Offensive Lineman last season.  I am currently a senior and I am playing on the varsity football team for Tempe High School.  I have a 3.5 GPA. I am looking for an institution where I can find the right balance between the classroom and field. I would like to pursue a university with an outstanding academic reputation.  Ideally, my athletic environment would be one where I could make an immediate impact on the team.
