Mitch Reilly '15 Recruiting Profile

I have been fortunate enough to be coached by a group of men who have taught more than just the game of football.  They have not only been exceptional in their pursuit to produce a championship team on the field but off the field as well.  I've learned the life lessons that come along with playing the greatest game ever played.  These men have demonstrated what a real man looks like: one who has an unwavering standard of excellence, a servant leader who doesn't need to tear others down in order to promote himself, one who does what's right when he doesn't feel like it, and one who controls his attitude and effort when circumstances are beyond his control. 

These characteristics have been embodied into all areas of my life.  As the Senior Class President, I address the entire study body on frequent occasions and am the first one to arrive to set up frequent school wide events and the last one to leave once the work is completed. 

I aspire to find a coaching staff who makes me better and one whom I can put my full faith and trust.  When I'm on the field, I'm on the battlefield and will fight till I'm not moving in order to benefit my team.  My loyalty and devotion to my coaches and teammates go beyond the game and ebbs into their personal lives.  I'm a rock to lean on and desire to help others around me achieve their goals.

Above all else the my relationship with my family is a priority in my life. My parents are my number one fans as they never fail at helping me achieve my goals. My older brother who attends the Air Force Academy has been my role model, motivating me to push beyond apparent limitations. 

I have God-given talents that I recognize and my desire is to offer these gifts without hesitation to the team I sign with and at the same time use my efforts to destroy the opposition!
