Nate Hunt '18 Recruiting Profile

I am focused on my goal to join and lead a football program at the University level for a team striving for success in athletics and supporting academics.

As a 6'3" 200lb Senior Quarterback with eleven years of football experience, and driven to continue my football journey and develop to my peak, I want to earn an opportunity to lead within the right program.

As Quarterback of my high school team we saw some success and lots of adversity.  I led my team and learned a lot about how to be a positive leader. This experience will help me in the future as I unlock my full potential. 

I am a serious athlete training for game speed year-round with former professional players as coaches at Game Ready Fitness a minimum of three times a week. I also completed High-Performance training at school where I excelled under the direction of Coach Deugau.

Outside football, I enjoy playing Lacrosse as well as doing weight and speed training. I am active in Drama and Travel clubs and I volunteer through school and church. I am interested in Marketing, Business, and Performing Arts.

My dedication as an athlete and strong indy and scrimmage performances allowed me to step in as a starter with teams like the Fox40 All Star team and Fox40 National in Ottawa; as well as the Game Ready Elite 7on7, and competitive club flag teams.  I have received recognition as an MVP at these events, but I am a team player who is willing to lead from any position that my team needs me to fill.

I like playing with the best and work to be the best. I am prepared to be fully committed to my next team as a student athlete.
