My high school counselor refers to me as a "Renaissance Man" because of my activities and accomplishments. I like the comparison and I think it fits me.
I am a captain on our varsity football team, a leader in the trumpet section of our award winning Arcadia Apache Marching Band and I have marched in the last two New Year's Day Rose Parades. My first was as a sophomore on the Pasadena City College Honor Band and last year our band was selected to participate in this historic parade.
I have played football at Arcadia High all four years. During my junior year I wore #76 and played OL and DL. As a senior I played DE and outside linebacker and wore #6. I was selected 2012 All-Pacific League Honorable Mention at defensive end.
I am the senior patrol leader of my Boy Scout troop of 80 boys and my Eagle Project is scheduled for completion in January 2013.
I strive every day to keep myself physically fit for football, mentally challenged in Mandarin Chinese (4 years) and AP Physics, service oriented in Boys Scouts and our School's Senior Men & Womens Honorary Service organization. I also enjoy performing musically with my friends in the band.
In college, I hope to study chemical engineering and play on the football team. I work hard every day to succeed in the classroom and to make myself better athletically on the football field.
I hope to join an organization where I can put to use my leadership and service skills.
I never take a day off when it comes to my committments.
