Both of my parents have graduated from a university. My father played football at both the collegiate and professional levels. I fully recognize the importance of academics, athletics, arts, and having a well balanced and successful experience. I'm interested in both business and music production. I have always had a passion for the arts and I think that gives me a bit of an edge when compared to other athletes in the same sport because it has enabled me to handle stressful situations differently. Having the ability to bridal my levels of aggression and intensity and release it at the appropriate times has resulted in me being referred to as the player that is always capable of staying in check by both players and coaches. I truly believe that there really is no "I" in "TEAM" and I have always been known as a player who is willing to do what it takes, including running scout-team drills when necessary to assist in getting our team prepared.
Additionally, some may be faster, stronger and maybe even smarter than me, but you would be hard-pressed to find any who are as hard working and committed as I am to the process of continually getting better. I come early and stay late. My football season is year-round, as I participate in off-season speed and strength training, camps, and skill specific training. I definitely promise anyone providing me an opportunity that my work-ethic and commitment to leading in the classroom and on the field will become evident in short-order.
Finally, my smile and overall love for life is contagious. :-)
