Zachary Wells '11 Recruiting Profile

My name is Zachary Wells. One of my dreams is to play football or basketball in college. I will be a senior in the fall, I am 6'5" and weigh 185 lbs. When it comes to leadership, I can be a leader in the locker room and can help set players straight. I would like to attend college on the west coast, preferably central or southern CA, but I would be more than happy to attend school anywhere else. I've been at small schools my whole life, so I wouldn't mind attending a small school, but also would like to have the experience of a big campus. When it comes to divison of sports, I'm not expecting a D1 full ride scholarship. I think I would fit into a D2 or D3 sports program, but also could play D1. (FINANCIAL AID MOM?) I haven't decided on a specific major yet, but some areas of work I've been looking into are becoming a pharmacist and sports medicine (trainer). If I do make it to a college program, I do not expect to come in as a true freshman and expect to start, but I would come in and do my best to earn my spot on the team, and if I do earn a starting spot, then I would work hard to keep that spot.
