Personal Statement
I have just finished my sophomore junior college season at Gavilan College in Gilroy, California. I started all 17 games I participated in. 10 at strong safety/nickel and 7 at free safety. I would like to transfer by the end of the spring semester and take the next step in my athletics and education. I currently have a JUCO 3.8 GPA and have been putting all my effort and focus into football and the classroom to take full advantage of my opportunities.
For the 2012 Season I decided to "Grey Shirt". I was the starting Tailback and Inside Linebacker for the scout teams. I want to get the most out of my college eligibility, I took the year to get bigger, stronger and faster while getting more experience at the collegiate level.
I started playing tackle football at 7 years old. The first 2 years I played I was voted "Most Improved Player" by my teammates. After my first 2 years, I was voted "Most Valuable Player" and "Most Inspirational Player". My Freshman year in High School I was voted "Most Valuable Defensive Player". I've always been a team captain and I have had coaches refer to me as "a coach on the field". I play hard every down and I play to win. I'm always the first player to arrive at practice and games and usually the last to leave. I spend more time in the weight room than most players because I want to be the best player on the field. I just love everything about football and being part of a team. I've always wanted to play college football and have been working hard to reach that goal my entire life. I coach at the High School level when I can as my father is the Head Coach and I love the game so much.
