As my high school football career ends, I'm looking forward to the next challenge. We made a deep playoff run and ended the season 10-2. I was honored to be named to the All-Ocean League team and was awarded our team's "Survivor" (Most Dedicated Player) and Scholar-Athlete (Highest GPA). I currently have a 1410 SAT/ 32 ACT and 4.1 GPA.
In my 4 years, I played on 5 teams with a combined record of 47-7 and we won 4 league championships. As a Senior, I started again at OLB and was a back-up Fullback. I was second on the team and third in the competitive South Bay Area in tackles. During my Junior season, I started at OLB and played Center and Guard as well. We went 8-2 and I led the team in tackles, defensive TDs and fumble recoveries.
Our defense has my OLB spot playing both inside or outside depending on the read. I can read plays extremely fast which makes me a step quicker to the ball and I finish with solid aggressive tackles that result in a lot of turnovers for my team. My passion is football. I love every aspect of the game: practicing, conditioning, lifting, film study, but most of all game day. I’m coachable, flexible and willing to do whatever it takes to help the team win.
I've demonstrated the ability to manage an academically challenging schedule while playing multiple sports at the high school level. I'm looking for a challenging engineering education at a school with a competitive football program that supports its student athletes. I have a strong interest in schools that have a Navy ROTC program as my intent is to serve my Country after College as a Naval Officer.
