As a Student Athlete I believe that while I do love Football and Track, academics come first. My goal is to be a positive contributor to a competitive collegiate team on and off the field. I work hard at everything I do and strive for perfection in all aspects of my commitments. I want to continue to play football because I love the game and everything that comes along with it. I have started on the Troy High School Warriors Varsity football team since sophomore year playing Wide Receiver and occasionally coming in as an extra Defensive Back when needed. I am also the Punter and one of the kick returners as well. I went into my Junior season listed as a key offensive player to watch in the OC register but suffered a broken hand in practice 5 days before our first game. I started the first 5 games of the season at Cornerback because my hand had to be clubbed due to my cast. Once I was able to get the cast off, I started at Wide Receiver and earned 1st Team All Conference Honors as well as Co Offensive MVP. I am working hard in the weight room this off season to get stronger and will be hurdling and jumping for the Varsity Track team as well. I myself am looking forward to leading my team to an outstanding season next year. Overall, I believe that my athletic ability and leadership qualities can help me contribute in a positive manner at any football program in the country.
