Jordon O'Hara '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jordon O'Hara and I am currently a junior at nevada union high school in Grass Valley CA. I am 6 foot 4 inches tall and weigh 221 pounds. My 40 was timed by my coach at practice over the summer. I have been playing football since the age of 11 and defensive end from the start. I enjoy the competition of sports and making friends and traveling. Freshman year I had a total of 76 tackles and 7 sacks. I was named captain week 2 and was captain every week. This off season I worked non stop to get bigger, better, faster, and stronger. I was involved with USA football over summer. I'm currently in week 5 of my JV season and have 28 solo tackles and 22 assist and a total of 50 tackles and 4.5 sacks. As you can tell I work very hard in the off season. I was named captain week 2 also and have made the paper the last 3 weeks in a row for leading in tackles. For the rest of my high school career I plan to do track and field and football. Sports have taught me many things over the years but a few traits I know I will carry with me in the future are discipline, leadership, responsibility, and doing your very best even when the coaches aren't watching. I'm currently involved with community service and leadership as an extra curricular activity. My high school dreams include getting an education and playing football at the highest level for as long as possible. I know that this will take 100% effort however, I believe that I fully capable of achieving my dream.
