Personal Statement
My name is Robert Tamayo, I am currently a Sophomore at Oak Hills High School in Oak Hills, CA. I recently transferred schools, but still have the same mental and physical goals and that is to excel in every aspect of the game to help my team succeed. I have been playing tackle football since the age of 7. As a Freshman I earned my starting position at Center and rotated time at both Guard position this past football season 2014. I also earned playing time at the Varsity level at Center. I am looking to play College Football. My experience and love for the game has increased my determination to play at the next level. I am a firm believer that in Football there is no off season. I work with my O-Line coach four times week, allowing me to get one step closer to that next level. My short term goal is still to improve and strengthen my speed and agility, my goal is still to earning a starting position on the Varsity Team. My long term goal is to play football at the collegiate level and earn my degree in Athletic Training or Veterinarian. I am committed to being a Student Athlete, earning the Student portion first and foremost. I strive to be the best student I can possible be both on and off the field. My motto is simple, football is a thinking man's game. I am committed to excellence and I know in the end that my hard work will pay off.
