Personal Statement
Greetings coaches, my name is Hector Villegas. Humbly I would like to tell you a couple things about myself. First of all I began to play football at the age of 10 in the city of Compton for the Mona Park Hurricanes. From the first moment I stepped onto the field I knew that I was going to play this sport for the rest of my life. I always saw football as life and I was honored to be playing it. It was my dedication and the love for the sport that kept me playing it, which is what all coaches look for in a football player. I had always made sure that nothing would ever interfere with me playing football especially my grades which is why I am consistent with keeping my grades up. My goal as a student athlete in college is to be the best and play the best to show my loyalty and gratitude to you for letting me be a part of your team. The qualities that lets me know that I am a good candidate for your team is my attitude to always please my coaches and put the team ahead of myself, my dedication, and my loyalty to the sport. The characteristics that make me different from other recruits is that I always follow my coaches orders no questions asked, I always have an attitude to please my coaches with my hard work, and my attitude to never give up on my team or my coaches. I hope that I am worthy enough to be a part of your program and I look forward to being a part of your team.
