Personal Statement
I am one of the most dedicated and hardworking athletes on my team, training all year round to make sure I am stronger, faster, and smarter than my adversaries. I know that being a student-athlete means school comes first. I take my studies seriously, sometimes having to not workout or train as to make sure I turn in quality work. The past couple years have been difficult in the classroom due to my ADHD and some issues at home for which I am disappointed in the way my transcript has turned out. Senior year however, has been great in the classroom. On the field I believe I am always eager to learn new drills and plays, doing anything I can to better myself and play smarter. My junior season I played mostly defense and was awarded All-Conference and All-CIF first team defensive end along with being presented with the Kiwanis Award at our banquet post-season. This past season I was captain and played center for offense, defensive end/tackle, as well as long snapping (mainly PAT). I love my team and I would do anything for them. I am determined to reach my goal of attending college playing football and will do whatever it takes to make it.
