I love this game because effort is what separates players from each other. My entire life I was told I couldn't play football because of my size and strength. I used this criticism to motivate myself to become the football player I am today. No one can take away the California State Championship my team and I earned this season. All the success I had is attributed to my off season work ethic and preparation. I recorded 14 take aways including 9 interceptions, 5 forced fumbles and 104 tackles. I play with a mindset to get my offense the ball. I recorded 2 interceptions in the first half of the Northern California Regional Championship that took us to State. There was no question I was dedicated to getting better in the off season and studying film. Because of my work ethic my coaches and teammates voted me to be a Team Captain. I played football to silence all the doubters and leave my legacy on the Campolindo Program. I love this sport because it gives me goals to fight for everyday and continue to get better. Last, but not certainly not least, I want to get a superior college education. Academics have always come first in my life.
