Personal Statement

***On 2/18/13 I committed to the University of California Davis to play football in 2013. I want to thank the coaching staff from UC Davis and Head Coach Gould for having faith and trust in me. It's a great school and a great program and I am looking forward to getting on to the field.

I also want to thank all of the other coaches I have had a chance to meet and talk to over the past year and who worked on recruiting me. Good luck with your seasons and teams.

Go Aggies.

Brandon Weaver

My Name is Brandon Weaver and I attend a highly rated Lasallian school in Napa, California.  I live nearby in the city of Vacaville.  I played Varsity football as a starter for the past three years. My senior year our team won the CIF North Coast Sections Championship. I was the MVP of that game. This year I was also named to the California All State Football Team by CalHi Sports. For two years in a row I was named All League (North Coast Sections 2011 and 2012), All County (Napa County 2011 and 2012), and MVP at Justin Siena High School in 2012.  All of these honors have lead me to my goal of playing football at the college level.

My goal is to attend a college that has a reputable, well-coached football team.  The school must have a solid engineering program.  I am a driven athlete and a hard working student.  I will be a strong asset to the college academically and athletically and will do my best to serve as a role model for others.

After I complete my BS, I plan to continue my education by attending a graduate school to study medicine or engineering.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
