Brennan Weeks '16 Recruiting Profile

    I love the game of football. I am not done yet. In my senior year of high school I did not get to play as much as I desired due to unfortunate, untimely injuries. I feel that I have only lightly scratched the surface of my potential on the field. My desire, character and work ethic are assets that every coach wants out of a player. I am a good candidate because no one on the team will work harder than me and no one will be more positive than me in the face of adversity. During my senior season I proved my depth of character by continuing to lead and support my teammates even though I was not able to regain my starting position at "will" linebacker subsequent to the previously mentioned injuries. This could have been heartbreaking to me but instead I have chosen to let it inspire me. I have a chip on my shoulder and I aspire to have an opportunity to know that I have left everything I have on the field and in the classroom. I have yet to complete that goal - but I will.
