Personal Statement
Its unbelievable that how each year since the beginning of my high school, I've plained out what I wanted to achieve through the success of football and it seems like every time my plan begins to deteriorate. I entered my freshman year wanting to become a graphic designer for games such as Madden, but now in my sophomore year I'm starting to see my self more in mass communications something I feel more confident in my self to do. I feel through football I am closer to achieve that goal cause of the success that I could have. Now seeing the potential of my self that many think I can achieve. I see that football is a gateway to much more. Now don't get me wrong I would love to continue playing football at a higher level but I know not everybody gets that opportunity at that so I'm more focused on my school work other than football. I feel its important that I focus more on school then football cause it say it in the title I'm not just an athlete I'm a student-athlete.
I feel like I'm different then many other athletes when it comes to knowing the game of football.I am very experienced at many different positions, so for example when I'm at wide receiver me knowing all the different coverage's from playing corner and safety I could tell what the corner or safety on me is going to do it, this benefits me cause if I know the corner or safety's responsibilities it enables me to do what I need to do on the play that I'm given. Also I feel like before playing football you have to be a student of the game, so I spend a lot of the time not only on the field but off the field also.I like to watch my opponents offense and defense to try and see what there tendencies are.I also like to try and perfect my game every time I touch the field, so it can be the little things or the big things I'm trying to perfect in my craft.
