Koby Welch '14 Recruiting Profile

Hi I'm Koby Welch, i'm 6'3 and 195 pounds. I've played football for 10 years ever since i was able to. I work everyday to attain my goal of being the best football player that I can possibly be, whether that's working out 2 times a day or regulating my diet for athletic optimization. I love hitting and being physical and was 8th in my conference for the 100 meter dash. I have played varsity football since my sophomore year where i was awarded 1st team all league and 1st team all area with 123 tackles that was 2nd in the league. My junior year my team won the CIF-SS championship for the first time in the 103 year school history with me leading the #1 defense in the entire southern section. I had 145 tackles which was 1st in league and was awarded 1st team all league, 1st team all conference, 1st team all CIF and all county linebacker of the year. My senior year I made a single season school record 178 tackles and also broke the school career tackle record. I was awarded first team all league, all county linebacker of the year, and all CIF defensive player of the year.
