Manny Berz, Class of 2017 Kicker/Punter varsity starter as a Freshman, Sophomore, Junior and Senior; October of 2014, received invitation to represent USA in the U-18 International Bowl Game in Dallas, TX at AT&T Stadium Jan 30, 2015.  December of 2015, received invitation to compete at the National Underclassman Challenge in Orlando, FL on January 2-3, 2016.  Was member of 2015 California State Champion, Division 2.  Ranked #1 Kicker in State of California by Kohl's Professional Kicking, 5 Star Recruit.  2016 was selected as Wendy's High School Heisman winner for State of California.  Committed to Southern Utah University.....2/1/2017

2016 Senior Season,  2016 Stats: PAT's 45/45, FG's 10/13, 65 kickoffs with 61 touchbacks and 69 yard average, 46.5 punt average and started every high school football game for four years.  Wendy's High School Heisman State Winner.  Riverside County Press Enterprise All Area Team; Mountain Pass League Special Teams MVP;  .  Selected to the 35th Annual Inland Empire All Star Classic.  Special Team MVP for CHHS.  Selected to USA TODAY All-USA California Football Team.  No injuries and improved on hang time and distance each year.  Academically, through the first 7 high school semester's I have never received anything but an A.  On track to be Class of 2017 Valedictorian. CalHi All State 1st Team.

2015 Junior season stats 87/88 PAT's, 14/17 field goals, 105 kickoffs=56 touchbacks, 46.7 yds. punting average, 9 tackles, and 3 fumble recoveries.  Voted to Los Angeles Times' All Area Football Team, USA Today (California) All-USA California Football Team. Riverside Press All Area, Fox Sports SW All American, Kohl's All American, League Co-MVP, CalHi All State 1st Team.

2014 Sophomore season stats 72/74 PAT's, 10/11 field goals, 70% touchbacks, 41.6 yds punting average, 4 solo tackles and 1 on side fumble recovery.  Voted to All League, All Area Team, MVP Special Teams, All State (CalHiSports), and Kohl's All American Team.

2013 Freshman season stats 11/11 field goals, 6 were beyond 40 yards, longest of season was 47 yards.  Southern California Section (CIF) champion and finalist for Kohl's All American Team.  Voted to All Area Team as a Kicker. 

Coaches, My goals are to assist in bringing wins to a college football program while obtaining a college degree.  My aspirations are to compete at a university with a strong football tradition, supporting coaches, great campus life, and high academic traditions for the university and community.   I aspire to have a great college life at a great college campus that supports all student athletes to be the best they can be.  I am currently exploring several different career Majors that will afford me a professional opportunity so that I can contribute back to my University, Community and Charitable Organizations.  After graduating from college, I wish to maintain a strong connection with football and help others reach their dream.

I have been invited to the California National Scholarship Federation as an exemplary student.  I have a 4.067 GPA and am ranked #29 of 534 students for my class.

My leadership qualities will have positive impacts on the University, teammates and communities.  I separate myself from the average population by doing the right things, for the right reasons without compromise.  My goals are focused on positive character, academic excellence and plays hard on every play.   I am anxious to meet my college coaching staff and set our goals for success.
