Personal Statement
I'm a very hard worker when it comes to school now. I will never lie to you and make you think of me as someone great but meet me and see me as the exact opposite. I've struggled my first two years in high school and now have made a tremendous improvement grade wise. My Transcript GPA was very low and I've brought it up a lot by getting a 3.5 in my first semester of my Junior year. I will do whatever it takes to reach my goals no matter how long.
I, along the way have realized that a letter doesn't define who you are as a person. If grades are going to be the thing that keep me short of my goals then so be it, but I will never give up EVER. What I am getting at here is I am a very good person in general and a great student athlete. A couple of my teachers have told my coach this and say I am a great example, these are some traits many athletes have. I promise I will differ from many of them for the great.
I have been giving a few teammates talks about how not to let people think they cannot accomplish their life goals of playing college ball, also not to allow what people say about them get into their heads. I love to bring people up when they're down and motivate them. I wish to study communication in college to if my football career ends there to be a sports announcer for the NFL or the NCAA.
