Tanner Prenovost '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Tanner Prenovost from Ladera Ranch, California and I am a Class of 2016 athlete attending Santa Margarita Catholic High School. I am have started varsity since my sophomore year on the football team and play in the toughest league in the nation, the Trinity League. I was awarded 2nd Team All-Trinity League as an offensive lineman and was given the Gauntlet Award for my leadership and work ethic by the Class of 2015. I have played guard, center, and defensive tackle in high school and am able to move around with ease. I am a current rack leader in the weight room and a captain of my team. I love to compete against my teammates in the weight room as well as on the field and aspire to be the best in every drill or exercise. I have an extremely high work ethic and lead by example in the weight room and on the field. I currently have a 3.48 nonweighted academic GPA but received a 4.14 this past semester. I hope to attend a university with high academic standards as well as strong athletics. I understand the challenges of balancing a rigorous academic schedule with athletics and I am up to the challenge at the collegiate level.
