My name is Jake McCreath. I am a Freshman at Modesto Junior College. I graduated from high school in 2012 and red-shirted my Freshman year at Morningside College in Iowa. I enrolled at Modesto Junior College in August of 2013 and have 3 years of eligibility remaining. In our just completed Junior College season, capped by a Bowl Game win, I was named as the All-Conference, Northern California Tight End. Mostly playing in the slot, I caught 33 passes for an average gain of 17.8 yards per reception. Also, my blocking on the edge and perimeter allowed our other receivers and running backs to reel off big gains. I am fortunate that my size and speed allow me to drive block through defensive backs, effectively block and run past linebackers, as well as take-on inside defensive ends and tackles when necessary.
