My dream is to play football in college. It is very important to me and my family that I go to college and obtain a degree and if my athletic ability provides a way to make that happen, that would be incredible. Football is my passion and I know that I can realize this dream IF I am willing to invest the time and discipline that it takes to make it a reality. I know that only hard-work and focus, in addition to the blessings of Faith and Family, will give me the foundation to pursue that dream. I am starting to understand what that investment includes. First, working hard in the classroom and second, working hard in the off-season. I compete with Kenion Training Elite 7on7 team in the off-season in addition to attending numerous camps, including the Rivals series and Nike. Additionally, I am working hard in the weight room on enhancing my strength and speed. I have started on my varsity squad, as both a WR and DB, since my freshman year. I have also started special teams as a Punt Returner and Kick-off Returner. As a freshman starting on varsity, I learned a lot about competing under pressure and going beyond what my mind told me I could do. I have been challenged every day to get better. My freshman year, I made 1st Team All-League DB and 2nd Team All-League WR. Last year, my sophomore year, I made 1st WR and 1st team DB. I also made 2nd team All-State as an athlete. I currently hold 3 NCAA Division 1 offers. I am grateful that Boise State University, Utah State University, and San Diego State University of recognized my ability and want me to attend their school and play for their program. I feel that my skills and mental toughness have greatly improved. I am looking forward to growing as an athlete and as a person over the rest of my High School career. http://www.pdpreps.com/news/article/41593/north-bay-league-all-league-football-team-for-2012/
