Personal Statement
Hi, my name is Ben Upega Defensive end currently attending Grant Union High School going into my last season as a Pacer. I stand at 6-foot-1 weighing in at 209 not your average type of defensive linemen but I find it as size dose not matter as long as you play hard, aggressive, physical, smart, and with a lot of heart. I kind of find myself as a balanced out defensive of player but i feel more of my speed kills at the end. I play anywhere I'm needed, played a little bit of defensive tackle but switched on and off with defensive end last season, had a tough season last year but I'm looking forward for this season coming up. I really want to play at the next level because its been my dream since I was a young boy playing with and against a lot of great talents in college. School I find is a real big deal for me, you know schoolwork first, then football. I really want to go somewhere in life my biggest dream and goal is getting a scholarship, going to school to get an education & play ball and making my family proud.
