From the time I walked onto the field as a fourth grader I knew the football field was where I belonged. Ever since I entered JSerra as a 155 lb. freshman I have given everything I have to be the best football player and teammate I can be. Each year I have set goals and worked hard to reach those goals. I have put in the time and effort necessary to work my way up the depth chart while increasing my speed, strength and agility. It appears as if this hard work has paid off, because now I have the opportunity to compete for a starting spot on the varsity level in 2015. Additionally, as a member of a top 5 teams in the State of California, and playing in the top conference in the country, I compete against the best high school players in the country on an every day basis.
Although football is my passion, I am well rounded and successfully compete in the classroom and the community. Both the Honors and AP courses I take force me to be the best I can be academically. The competitive spirit I have demonstrated on the field has allowed me to successfully compete in Mock Trail competitions, as part of the school's Legal Magnet program. Also, by working within my community as youth volunteer coordinator, I use my understanding of teambuilding and the need to be a good teammate. This was further exemplified in early March of 2015 when I was chosen by the coaching staff at JSerra to participate in a Navy Seals Leadership retreat.
I am truly excited about reaching the goal I set to play college football. I can't wait to take my talents and work ethic to the next level where I can be not just the best player, teammate and student, but rather, the best person I can be.

- AwardsI am currently a member of the schools Legal Magnet program. As part of the Legal Magnet program I participate in Mock Trial competitions. Additionally, the Legal Magnet program has mandatory Honor Courses, so instead of taking a standard course load of seven classes, I take an eighth class on line. That class is Spanish. This class is both UC and NCAA approved, but unfortunately, this class is not offered at the honors level. Along with my participation in the Legal Magnet Program I am part of the National Honor Society.
- ActivitiesAs referenced above I participate in Mock Trial competitions. But in addition to that I focus a lot of my extra curricular time on community service. For the last two years I have participated as a youth volunteer in the Kiewit Charity Classic, a golf tournament that raises money for the Children's Miracle Network. This past year as well as this coming year I will serve as a Coordinator for the teenage volunteers. Other volunteer service has included, participating as counselor at a youth football camp, coaching Pop Warner football for my brother's team, alter serving, and serving meals at a woman's homeless shelter.
