I am working extremely hard to get a college scholarship so that my parents can use their money for my 6 year old brother who has special needs. It all starts with how I take my classes very seriously. I see my education as being much more important than football. This is what will last way beyond my playing days. That being said, once I take care of my business in the classroom, I pour myself into my time on the field, in video/chalk talk sessions, and in the weight room. Being a smaller player has forced me to do the little things to give me an advantage over my opponent. I push myself in the weight room and strive to beat my total each week. I absolutely love the process of preparing for a football season, as well as each game. I will respect my coaches and do whatever is asked of me. I will give them everything I've got because I want to glorify God in whatever I do and He, my coaches and teammates deserve my best effort in everything I do. I love the bond that I have with my teammates, knowing that I have a second family I can go to in need. I value my education and want to go to a good college so when I graduate, I can get a successful job and support a family one day. It has been my dream from an early age to play college football. And I am praying that with how much work I am putting in, I will be able to make this dream a reality.
