Personal Statement
My name is Brian Lopez, I am a senior at Southeast high school. After I graduate i plan to further my education and I would like to earn my Bachelors degree. I hope I can continue to play football through out my college education. I hope my love for football will put me through college and be successful in life. Every part of my life is dedicated to be a better football player. From the classroom to the field. I have been playing football since my freshman year. All year long since then I have been dedicated to becoming a better football player. In the weight room, getting stronger and in the field working on my techniques. I am currently 6'5" 255 pounds. I lost ten pounds from my junior year and got quicker. My goal is to be back at my weight of 265 with the speed and explosiveness that I have now. My size and aggression gives me an advantage over the guy in front of me. My quickness and explosiveness of the ball allows me to beat the guy in front of me every single time. I have an explosive and aggressive punch. My long arm reach gives me an advantage to deliver the blow first. My footwork and speed allows me to beat with the fastest D ends. My strength and power allows me to beat D ends who outweight me. My speed allows me to keep up with linebackers which allows me to cut them off and open a hole. As a Junior I got All-league. This year, as my senior year I was elected captain and have been working harder then ever to get All-city. I have been working harder then ever to achieve all of my goals in football and to get noticed by college scouts so that I can get a chance to live my dream of playing football at the next level. My love for the game wont let me stop working harder and harder everyday. I will outwork anyone to live my dream of playing football.
