Keita Calhoun '14 Recruiting Profile

I have played organized sports most of my life.  I have a background in soccer, track and basketball.  I first played organized football in the 9th grade.  I was named the outstanding special team player for my freshman team.  I have kicked all four years for my high school.  My junior year I was named the outstanding special team player for my varsity team and my senior year I was named one of the top five high school kickers in Riverside County (CA), by the Press Enterprise newspaper.  In July this year I won the San Diego (CA) Kicking World camp contest with a 53 yard field goal. 

I love football and every year I have worked hard to improve my skills both on the field and in the classroom.  I am very coachable and I get along well with all of my teammates.  My GPA is 3.66.

I consider being able to play football on the college level a blessing.  It is an honor I look forward to if given the opportunity.  I am a hard worker and committed to being an important asset to my team and your program.
