Personal Statement
I am determined to make it to a Division 1 or Division 2 college/university, and willing to contribute to the team in any possible way. I would love to have an positive impact on the team. The values of family/team work are important to me. I am able to handle my business in the class room, and on the field. Football is my life and I love playing for the passion for the game.
As I a little boy I watched my uncle, Edwin Mulitalo, play as a Gaurd in the N.F.L. I always enjoyed watching the game, and when I finally got my chance to play at the age of 7, I fell in love with football. I have played many positions throughout my career such as Defensive back, Runningback, Offensive Linemen, Linebacker, and Quarterback. No matter what position I played, I always was the leader of the team. The team is my priority and I will do anything for my teammates.
As I have mentioned before, I love playing football, and there are many reasons why I have an immense passion for the game. Being a student of the game, and having instincts has elevated the field of play for me. I have fun during any preparation towards football, whether it's physical, mental, or spiritual preparation.
I take advantage of the off-season to improve my physical skills, by many hours of hard work. With tools from our strength and conditioning coach, as well as mine, I am able to increase my speed, strength, and toughness year-round. Preparation for mentally takes part in the classroom and the film room.
As I build good habits in my education, I can carry these attributes to the field. For example, when I get my school work done efficiently and effectively, I am able to spend more time in the film room studying the opposing team. This gives me a better advantage against my opponents, and to exploit their weaknesses on Friday nights.Being a student of the game also allows me to play with my instincts.
My favorite and most important of preparation is my spiritual readiness. I am part of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and my religion is significant to my success. Every pre-game I pray for protection. Being spiritual ready, also reminds me to remain humble and to play with my teammates.
