Personal Statement
Hello my name is Dillon Hott. I started playing football at age 6 in pop warner football. Football drives me to always be better and it is the force and drive behind my dream to be a collegiate football player. I play tight end and defensive end at Redwood High School in Visalia, California. I am sixteen years old and was a starter as a freshman on my freshman football team. I also started on my JV team as a sophmore, that year I received the deffensive player of the year coaches award. Also that year, the head varsity coach moved me up to varsity to play in the playoffs. I am able to power clean 215 pounds, I squat 315 lbs and bench 260 lbs. My dream is to play college football at a good school where I can pursue not only my dream in sports, but also pursue my preferred major of sports medicine. I hope to study exercise science and kinesiology and to become a personal trainer or nutritionist. I work hard not only on the field, but in the classroom maintaining a 3.5 GPA. I am easily taught and remember things well. If you are looking for a student athlete who works to be the best they can be on and off of the field, I am your man. I look forward to being a student athlete at the next level. Being raised in a supportive family has made me a better person and a great teammate. This has also taught me to be dependent on others, but knowing when to step up and be self reliant. I will never stop working towards my goal as a collegiate football player.
