I just completed my third year of high school football playing receiver on offense and free safety on defense. This was my first year starting both ways on our Varsity team. Our team had a rough season finishing with a losing record. It was a difficult challenge and I was tested like never before. However, I know that I will be stronger in the future because of this past season and I am hungrier than ever to compete. Personally, I was able to produce good numbers and was elected to the 1st Team All League and to the All County team. I finished the season with 67 catches, 801 yards, and 6 touchdowns on offense. Defensively, I finished with 75 tackles and 2 interceptions. I am glad that I had success this past year, but am nowhere near satisfied, as I know I can and will do more next season. Over the offseason, I plan to work with Fusion Football led by former NFL receiver Chris Thomas. I have been learning from Chris for the past five years and he has taught me how to play receiver from an NFL perspective. I feel this training has enabled me to distinguish myself as a unique receiver having been mentored by someone who has had success playing at the highest level. I recently finished the first semester of my Junior year with a 4.0 GPA. During my Freshman and Sophomore year, I finished all four semesters with a 4.0 GPA. I take school extremely seriously and always expect nothing less than an A in my classes.
I am looking at different schools with an open mind. I want to be a part of a program that believes in above all winning, but with character. I am extremely competitive, so winning is always my priority. I want to develop as a player every day throughout each season and offseason. My overall goal throughout my career is to reach my full potential and play at my highest level. I want to accomplish this, of course, while having success and winning games.
From the time I was five years old, it has been a goal of mine to play college football. I love the game of football and I see the opportunity to play at the next level as an honor and a privilege. I have a great work ethic because I know what my goals are and that in order to achieve them, I must work hard on the field, in school, and while training and preparing to play football.
