Personal Statement
I am a 6'2", 210lbs LB/DE/OT at Esperanza High School in Anaheim, CA. In my upcoming senior year, I will be a third year Varsity starter and have played OT, TE, DE, and LB. This year (2017/2018), my coaches have moved me to LB defensively, and I play OT on offense. My sophomore and Junior years I was the starting DE on Varsity and started at OT on Offense my Junior year as well. I will play wherever the coach/team needs me. I lift weights year round and also participate in track and field in the spring (shot and discus). I was a captain on the Varsity football team my junior year and my senior year.
I am a team leader and lead by example while encouraging my teammates. I work hard on and off the field. I give 100% all the time, and I expect all of my teammates to always give 100% as well. I am willing to learn new positions, and will always give my full attention and effort. I am very coachable and strive to be the hardest working player on the field.
I have been playing football since I was eight years old and I haven't stopped loving the game. Playing in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity that could change my whole life. I know that I will make a good addition to the right school's football program and overall community.
