Personal Statement
This past season was my fourth season of high school football. My team went from 1-9 my sophomore year, to 2-9 my junior year, to 7-4 this year. I started every game the past two seasons and served as a team captain. My freshman year I was brought up to varsity at the end of the season and competed at tight end and defensive end at only 170 pounds. I am now 6'3 and weigh 225 pounds and have room to put on more weight. I have a very long arms and legs that help me at almost any position I have played. That being said, since entering high school I have played defensive end and outside linebacker on defense. On offense I have played tight end, wide receiver, and offensive tackle. I have also long snapped on special teams. I am easily adaptable to being moved around, and in doing so I have strengthened a wide variety of football skills. I have also played two years of baseball and one year of basketball. In doing all this, plus non sports related activities, I have maintained a 4.23 cumulative GPA. I have not gotten in any trouble and I will work hard in every thing I do. From the weight room, to the field, to the classroom and beyond, I will always give 100% of what I have. I am very competitive. I not only want to be better than the people around me but I strive to be better than I'm capable of, as well. I feel that this will always keep me working my hardest. Whatever team I am apart of the coaches can be confident that they will get someone who is willing to come in, lead by example, outwork others, and have no problems off of the field.
