Personal Statement
I am a 5 star recruit and ranked #2 in the nation by Kohl’s Long Snapping and #4 in the nation by Rubio Long Snapping. I am the highest ranked available long snapper in the nation in both rankings. I started as a Sophomore and Junior at Tight End and Long Snapper this season at Chino Hills High where we compete in the second highest division of Southern California High School Football and made the playoffs. I am a three sport athlete playing football, baseball and golf. I am a natural leader and have been selected as Team Captain two years in a row for baseball and on my Freshman football team. I am the co-founder of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes on my campus and serve as Co-captain. I am also involved in my community by serving for a 5th consecutive year with the Let It Be Foundation Youth Advisory Team where we help restore a sense of normalcy for children and their families with life threatening pediatric illnesses in our community. I have been selected to serve as Team Captain for the second time with the Let It Be Foundation and have given over 400 hours of volunteer service.
In addition to my athletic abilities I excel in the classroom. I currently am a 4.2 GPA student ranking in the top 3% of my class and I am pursuing a 4.4 or higher GPA for the next 2 years of my high school career. My first ACT score was a 28 and I am also taking an SAT prep class and working hard for an even higher score. I have the virtues of leadership and dedication engrained in my mentality. It is my strongest desire to attend an academically rigorous and challenging school as well as an athletically dominant school. I am interested in studying business. I believe my athletic, academic, and leadership qualities as well as my strong work ethic will make me an outstanding member of your program.
