My name is Brooklyn Hardiman. I graduated from De La Salle high school in 2016. During that time, my team and I won two back to back state championships(2014 and 2015). I was recruited by Southern Oregon University and attended school there for one year. I redshirted during that year and realized SOU wasn't where I exactly wanted to play my four years of football. In the Fall of 2017, I enrolled at Los Medanos College. At LMC, I started all 11 games at strong safety and played on every special teams except for kickoff return. Our team finished 9-2 and we went to a bowl game(living breath bowl) and won. I was nominated defensive player of the game for my performance. I finished the season with 70 tackles, 5 tfls, 2 picks, 1 sack, and 5 pbu's. Overall, I had a solid freshman year. However, I know my best football is ahead of me and I am only going to get bigger, stronger, and faster, which will allow me to dominate my sophomore year. Along with the physical aspect of the game, I am also constantly working on the mental side and becoming a student of the game by studying and breaking down film. I am a hungry, aggressive player and I know I can compete and excel at the next level.
