Personal Statement
I have been playing football since I was seven years old. I knew after the first week on the practice field that this was the game for me I was in love. Football has been in my family for a long time. My two older brothers had played and my dad is a long time football coach. I have learned so much from this game that has helped me in life. Being a team player, being coachable, and working hard in the off season are a few examples. I work hard in the class room to keep my grade point average at 4.0. Having the discipline to stay on track, setting short term and long term goals has helped me to be successful. I am very lucky to have great support from my high school staff, my head coach, defense coordinator and strength coach. Most of all I have incredible support at home. Through the years of playing every position on the field it has truly helped me understand the whole game. I also help with the after school program in the weight room teaching new lifters to use proper techniques. What is really important to me is getting a college education. When I was young I dreamed about playing high school and college football. I know if I keep working hard in the class room and in the off season my dreams will come true. Thank you
